Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve variance/denials using critical thinking, analytical skills, and decision-making abilities
- Apply knowledge of carrier policies, direct contracts, subscriber benefits, non-covered services, coding, diagnosis issues, and accounts receivable
- Maintain thorough knowledge of Marshfield Clinic Health System policies, protocols, and processes
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve common goals
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a medical business office, healthcare, pharmaceutical setting, or comparable experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) may be required for certain positions
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
