Artificial Intelligence (AI) Subject Matter Expert - Remote Opportunity
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Artificial Intelligence (AI) Subject Matter Expert to join our team, providing strategic guidance and support on advanced AI and Machine Learning (ML) concepts, systems, and technologies. As an AI SME, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of AI adoption and implementation, driving innovation, and delivering exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide thought leadership and expertise on AI/ML strategy, program plans, and initiatives to support mission objectives
- Develop and coordinate recommendations on emerging AI technologies, AI bias mitigation best practices, and system testing and evaluation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design, develop, and manage AI architecture integration initiatives, prioritizing innovation and technical excellence
- Research, evaluate, and recommend cutting-edge AI technologies for potential application to current and future systems
- Engage in technical exchange and working groups, developing AI modernization roadmaps, and delivering technical briefings and supporting documentation

Requirements:
- Active DHS Clearance, CBP Background Investigation, or ability to obtain clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in STEM with 12+ years of experience in AI/ML technologies
- Experience in AI bias analysis, mitigation best practices, and test environment setup
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare and present briefings and technical documentation
- Understanding of Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) regulations, NIST Framework, CISA best practices, and guidance related to cyber threats and vulnerabilities
