Job Title: Night Shift Press Operator - Join Our Team and Shape the Future of Knowledge Sharing

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated #3 Press Operator to join our Core Publishing Solutions team at our state-of-the-art printing plant in Eagan, Minnesota. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in operating our cutting-edge offset and digital web presses, ensuring the highest quality products for our customers.

In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting the press crew with setup and production activities, including preparing for upcoming jobs and staging materials
  • Quality checking products, completing transactions, and bundling and tagging products for our customers
  • Filling in for Lead and Mid-Level Operators as needed, including covering absences or breaks
  • Monitoring equipment and product quality, maintaining a safe and clean work area, and documenting activities on Tier Boards and in relevant systems
  • Using safety equipment to comply with state and federal regulations and reporting all safety and environmental hazards

About You:

  • Possess a High School Diploma or higher, with a vocational/technical degree preferred
  • Some experience working in an industrial setting with production machinery, with strong mechanical and technical skills
  • Ability to regularly lift at least 5 lbs. above the shoulder, push, pull, and lift at least 10 lbs. occasionally up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong understanding of electrical safety and safe work practices, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
