As a Senior Remote Data Analyst, you will be a vital link in our quality assurance process, ensuring the reliability and performance of these critical components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bug Triage & Analysis: You will be responsible for triaging and analyzing software bugs reported in the Safari browser and the WebKit framework within various Apple products, including iTunes, Mail, and Messages.
• Investigative Analysis: Apply strong analytical and investigative techniques to identify root causes of software issues.
• Issue Prioritization & Escalation: Evaluate the severity and impact of bugs, prioritizing them for resolution and escalating complex issues to the appropriate engineering teams.
• Reproducibility & Documentation: Reproduce reported bugs, meticulously document findings, and provide clear, concise reports for developers.
• Data-Driven Insights: Leverage data analysis techniques to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas for improvement in the software release process.
• Collaboration & Communication: Maintain strong communication with engineering teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
• Automation Support: Assist in the development and execution of automated functional and performance tests.
• Maintain Quality Standards: Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the software release lifecycle.

Key Capabilities & Qualifications:

• Analytical Skills: Proven ability to apply essential analytical and investigative methodologies to identify and resolve software defects.
• QA Methodologies: Solid understanding and practical experience with various QA methodologies (e.g., black box testing, regression testing, exploratory testing).
• Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to adapt to a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, or other programming languages is highly desirable.
• Version Control: Experience working with Git or other source control systems.
