Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Junior Data Analyst to join our team and contribute to the development of our data analysis capabilities. As a Junior Data Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from data entry to complex business transformations, and end-user reporting.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define business processes and provide analytical support
- Utilizing coding skills to analyze complex datasets and design, develop, and evaluate data transformations to solve specific business problems
- Building flexible, efficient, and automated data processes to facilitate client-facing reporting
- Automating business processes to streamline operations
- Communicating insights and recommendations to business stakeholders and leadership
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field, such as statistics, mathematics, data science, business analytics, economics, finance, engineering, or computer science
- 3+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL), scripting languages (e.g., Python), or statistical/numerical programming (e.g., R, SAS, Matlab, etc.)
- 3+ years of experience with machine learning/statistical modeling, data analysis tools, and techniques, and parameters that influence their performance
- Experience applying theoretical models in an applied environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate degree in a quantitative field, such as statistics, mathematics, data science, business analytics, economics, finance, engineering, or computer science
- Experience in a machine learning or data scientist role with a large technology company
