A Day in the Life:
As a Remote Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for accurate data entry and seamless collaboration with colleagues within our pharmacy administration process. You'll be a key member of our front-end team, focused on order entry, meticulous accuracy, and delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize and address customer service requests based on urgency and information needs.
- Verify and confirm the accuracy of dispensed medications.
- Assist in monitoring controlled substance (opioid) prescriptions for compliance.
- Provide pharmacists with critical information regarding allergies, drug interactions, and relevant alerts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Required Qualifications:
- Valid certification/license as a pharmacy professional or as required by state regulations.
- One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy professional.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in long-term care.
- PTCB certification.
- High school diploma or GED.
