Responsibilities:

You will be the primary point of contact for patients requiring assistance with specialty drug requests and reorders. This includes:

  • Managing new and existing drug requests, including benefit verification.
  • Guiding patients through the process of entering new or reordered medications into the pharmacy system.
  • Collecting co-pays and other payments.
  • Obtaining necessary approvals.
  • Collaborating with insurance agencies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to monitor, resolve, and approve orders with financial or clinical issues.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of one year of experience in a customer service role, handling a high volume of complex customer inquiries via phone.
  • Minimum of one year of experience with Windows-based applications (Windows, Microsoft Office, web browsing, email).
  • Proficient keyboarding skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in healthcare, benefits, insurance, medical terminology, or pharmacy.
