Senior Product Manager – Supplier Advertising

As a Senior Product Manager on our Supplier Advertising team, you will play a key role in driving the discovery, definition, and launch of new advertising offerings that fuel Wayfair's growth trajectory.

As a crucial partner in enabling this mission, our Supplier Advertising team owns the strategy, design, engineering, go-to-market, and analytics of Wayfair's Advertising offerings.

In this role, you will leverage your deep understanding of our customers, business strategy, and KPIs to define and drive the vision for advertising offerings and capabilities used by Wayfair suppliers. You will partner with cross-functional teams, including user experience design, machine learning, business, and engineering stakeholders, to launch new advertising offerings and optimize existing experiences that maximize value for our suppliers, customers, and the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive the vision for advertising offerings and capabilities used by Wayfair suppliers, leveraging a deep understanding of our customers, business strategy, and KPIs.
  • Optimize our product portfolio using a combination of user experience and data science to improve supplier outcomes and maximize value to the Wayfair business.
  • Own roadmap planning and manage execution with dedicated Engineering, Machine Learning Science, Experience Design, and Analytics teams.
  • Evaluate and evolve our strategy as we learn and adjust our business goals, working cross-functionally to continually improve velocity of insights and experimentation.
  • Define product requirements in collaboration with cross-functional teams across departments, including ad footprint, supplier experience, and ad serving.
  • Partner with the engineering team to drive timely and smooth execution through sprint rituals like grooming, planning, and retrospective.
  • Influence the evolution of Wayfair's strategy for advertising offerings, working closely with senior leaders across various functional areas.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a preference for experience in advertising.
  • Proven track record of launching new products (0-1) and/or scaling existing products (1-100), with a deep understanding of business strategy and technical products.
  • Excellent quantitative skills, with demonstrated experience turning data into actionable insights and requirements.
  • Ability to keep up in highly technical conversations, making key decisions and effectively communicating trade-offs with engineers and data scientists.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to think and act both tactically and strategically.
  • Ability to work with and influence senior leaders (Director+) across various functional areas.
