Account Manager - Remote Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Account Manager to join our team at Aetna, a leading healthcare company. As an Account Manager, you will play a key role in managing local client relationships, driving business growth, and delivering exceptional customer service. This is a remote opportunity with a competitive salary of $27-$35 per hour.

Job Summary:

The Account Manager will be responsible for managing daily client support activities, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with clients. This role will report to a Regional Manager of Omnicare Account Management and will work closely with internal stakeholders to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong client relationships by delivering exceptional customer service and fostering trust
  • Attend client meetings and develop a rhythm of regular, proactive client meetings to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and work with internal stakeholders to develop action plans to address client concerns and opportunities
  • Manage routine client support activities, resolve client issues, and respond to client inquiries
  • Collaborate with the Key Account team to deliver initiatives at the facility level for national and local accounts
  • Assess client needs, present Omnicare's offerings, and grow the business

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of client-facing experience
  • Ability to travel overnight at least 50%
  • Valid driver's license and ability to verify insurance, if driving
  • CRM proficiency, preferably Salesforce
  • COVID-19 vaccination required

  • Established success in client/account management
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to be consultative and solution-focused
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to track and manage issues, engage the right teams, and drive timely issue resolution
  • Ability to think critically and creatively, with a strong problem-solving mindset
  • History of performing under pressure, adapting to changing circumstances, and finding solutions that drive client satisfaction
  • Effective presentation skills, with the ability to make group presentations to promote client satisfaction, retention, and upsell opportunities
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and web applications
