Remote Data Analyst - $22/Hour

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our team at Disney Streaming. As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in driving business decisions by applying advanced analytical techniques to large-scale, complex data sets. About the Role:

The Disney Streaming Information and Examination association is looking for a Data Expert who will be an excellent addition to our High-Level Investigation, Content team. As a Data Analyst, you will join our content team that applies scientific rigor to optimize our content portfolio, marketing, and release strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Apply advanced analytical techniques (data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, machine learning) to drive business decisions
• Analyze customer behavior to identify unmet customer needs and undiscovered content opportunities
• Predict content engagement to inform acquisition decisions
• Optimize content launch and episode release strategy
• Test marketing strategies to enhance engagement and retention
• Develop new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance
• Provide ad-hoc analytical support to stakeholders
• Effectively communicate insights through compelling data storytelling

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or equivalent
• At least 2 years of Data Analysis experience
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with R and/or Python
• Experience with statistical analysis and machine learning methods
• Proven ability to work independently and apply creativity in solving complex problems
• Excellent data storytelling skills

Nice to Have:

• Master's degree in Data Science, Math, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or equivalent
• A passion for Media and Entertainment
