We're seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Weekend Intake Specialist to join our Intake team at Edgar Snyder & Associates, a renowned law firm dedicated to helping victims of injury. As a remote, full-time team member, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients.

Job Overview: As a Weekend Intake Specialist, you'll work a four-day schedule (Friday - Monday) and be responsible for handling incoming calls, completing new client intakes, and screening potential clients. You'll also track and respond to callers, obtain necessary data, and forward calls to the appropriate attorney. Excellent phone etiquette, customer service skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as a team player are essential.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming calls and new client calls for evaluation in areas such as Personal Injury, Workers Compensation, Medical Malpractice, Employment Law, and Social Security
  • Complete new client intakes and screening potential clients, resolving actions to complete missing or unknown information
  • Track and respond to callers professionally, focused on customer service and obtaining necessary data
  • Complete assigned work in a timely manner to build positive relationships

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer service or customer-facing role
  • Demonstrated experience answering phones in a law firm or call center atmosphere (preferred)
  • Availability to work a daylight, four-day schedule that includes weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday)
  • Residency in Pennsylvania, with reasonable proximity to Pittsburgh, PA, for occasional on-site meetings or events
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office applications and database entry software
  • Empathic and compassionate individual with excellent listening and questioning skills
  • Strong multitasking, time management, and organizational skills
