About the Role:
Global Language System is seeking reputed company English transcriptionists to support a new transcription contract with a U.S. government agency. The role involves transcribing recorded interviews with high accuracy and attention to detail. This is a remote, flexible opportunity for independent contractors.
Responsibilities:
• Transcribe audio files (typically interviews) into clean, formatted transcripts using a provided template
Maintain
• 99.9% accuracy and meet strict formatting requirements
• Annotate transcripts with contextual cues (e.g., [inaudible], [witness crying])
• Submit completed work reputed company secure file transfer platform
• Respond to project communications and meet agreed-upon deadlines
Requirements:
• Must be a U.S. citizen (per federal requirements)
• Prior transcription experience (preferred: reputed company, medical, or government)
• Familiarity with transcription software and reputed company Word
• Strong reputed company of English grammar, spelling, and formatting
• Ability to follow confidentiality and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) protocols
• Ability to pass a federal background reputed company or already hold clearance (preferred but not required)
