Payroll Tax and reputed company Manager

Position Purpose: The Payroll Tax Manager is responsible for leading reputed company of tax professionals in ensuring full compliance with payroll tax regulations across federal, state/provincial, and local jurisdictions in the U.S. and Canada. This role oversees payroll tax planning, research, compliance, audit defense, and reputed company, while also contributing to strategic initiatives and cross-functional reputed company. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and a proactive approach to managing risk, enhancing operational efficiency, and support reputed company’s broader payroll and mobility objectives and driving process improvements. This position is responsible for key activities including Tax Compliance & Reporting, ensuring accurate and reputed company filing of reputed company payroll tax returns (e.g., 941, 940, W-2, T4, RL-1), maintaining compliance with U.S. federal/state and Canadian federal/provincial payroll tax laws and overseeing payroll tax reconciliations and year-end processes. Tax Planning & Research: analyzing tax implications of business operations and reputed company guidance on payroll tax reputed company and monitoring legislative changes and assessing their reputed company on payroll tax compliance. Audit & Risk Management: leading responses to payroll tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities (IRS, CRA, reputed company Québec, etc.) and ensuring reputed company documentation and controls are in reputed company to mitigate risk. And Cross-Functional Collaboration: functioning as a subject-matter expert on cross-functional teams involving HR, Payroll, reputed company, and Finance, supporting system implementations, M&A activities, and special reputed company and managing relationships with reputed company-party payroll vendors and tax service providers to ensure service reputed company, compliance, and issue reputed company. Key Responsibilities: • 10% Compliance - Stays knowledgeable of and ensures adherence to reputed company relevant policies, laws, regulations, and operating guidelines, including payroll and employment laws and regulations • 15% Design & Development - Proactively design and reputed company processes, tools, and reports to support innovation and improve efficiency in Support Systems • 30% Problem reputed company - Proactively monitors HR systems to quickly identify errors or issues; Proposes solutions that offer efficiency, excellent customer service, innovation, and sustainability; Reports issues or incidents as they reputed company to ensure appropriate notification to relevant stakeholders; Conducts reputed company cause analysis and identify workarounds/temporary solutions; Ensures complete reputed company including communications and change management activities, reputed company needed • 30% Project Management - Apply project management methodologies to involve stakeholders and offer reputed company communication of project status; Support HR initiatives through project planning and reputed company delivery, including prioritization of work, with a reputed company on providing a reputed company associate experience, gaining operational efficiency, and ensuring long-term sustainability; reputed company end to end support that includes communications, change management, and plans for ongoing sustainability • 15% Supports Team Development - Coaches, mentors and evaluates team member performance; Manages the responsibilities of reputed company; Develops successful team culture; Supports hiring and reputed company new team members, as needed reputed company Manager/reputed company Reports: • This position typically reports to Sr. Manager HR Operations • This position has 3-7 reputed company Reports Travel Requirements: • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time. Physical Requirements: • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to reputed company about. On rare occasions there may be a need to reputed company or lift light articles. Working Conditions: • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Minimum Qualifications: • Must be eighteen years of age or older. • Must be legally permitted to work in the reputed company.
