Accounting Assistant/Bookkeeper
About the position
Responsibilities
• Categorize and record financial transactions in QuickBooks Online.
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards, troubleshooting any errors.
• Request documentation and information from clients and ensure consistent documentation.
• Review and code receipts, invoices, and bills.
• Maintain accurate records and information about each client.
• Process invoices, receipts, and payments accurately and in a timely manner.
• Handle general admin tasks related to the bookkeeping team.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and handle all necessary sensitive data.
• Identify inefficiencies in bookkeeping processes and implement solutions to streamline workflows, reduce errors, and optimize productivity.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
• 1 year of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office.
• Strong financial analysis and forecasting skills.
Nice-to-haves
• Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance.
