Revenue Cycle Medical Billing - Claim Prep & File - Government Payors Call Team Location: Remote or On-Site Hourly Pay: $16 This position is bonus eligible Work Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hrs/wk, M-F 8am-5pm Central Job Summary The Medical Billing Revenue Cycle Claim Prep and File Call Team Representative: • Works with patients and patients’ families to verify demographics and insurances including health insurance, first party coverage, and third-party liability. • Updates patient transport records when updated information. • Assists patients by answering pre-billing questions. • Works with team members to meet team goals and deadlines. Essential Functions/Duties • Managing inbound and outbound call volume • Identifying patients’ needs, clarifying information, and researching issues to provide solutions • Processing mail • Skip Tracing Qualifications Required Experience: • Minimum of one (1) year experience in a call center environment • Excellent customer service skills • Ability to work Independently and as an active member of a team • Knowledge and experience of computers and related technology at an intermediate level • Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types • Professional verbal and written skills • Ability to multitask, set priorities, and manage time Preferred Experience • Minimum of one (1) year working in a customer service position Preferred Education • High school diploma • GED • Or significant, relevant work experience Why Choose Air Evac Lifeteam?
