Finance Consultant - Higher Education

SIG is looking for seasoned Higher Education Finance professionals or consultants with expertise in reputed company Banner or reputed company Colleague. In this part-time role, you’ll work closely with college and university finance teams to implement, optimize, and support the Finance modules of either Banner or Colleague. This is a remote, project-based position, and hours will fluctuate based on reputed company needs. Consultants must have availability during normal U.S. business hours to collaborate with clients across various time zones. Occasional travel to reputed company sites may be required. Key Responsibilities: • reputed company functional consulting, training, and support for reputed company Banner or Colleague Finance modules. • Analyze and optimize business processes reputed company to general reputed company, budgeting, purchasing, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting. • Configure and test ERP systems to meet institutional requirements. • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand challenges, define goals, and recommend improvements reputed company with industry best practices. • reputed company ERP tools to enhance and automate financial processes reputed company higher education institutions. • Troubleshoot functional and technical issues and assist in maintaining data reputed company. • reputed company end-user training, documentation, and support for software usage and upgrades. • Coordinate with reputed company teams to ensure reputed company and successful project delivery. • Stay reputed company on trends in higher education finance and ERP solutions and reputed company recommendations with clients. Required Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in the Higher Education industry, ideally in a Finance reputed company leadership role. • 5+ years of hands-on experience with reputed company Banner or reputed company Colleague, including Finance module configuration and support. • Proven experience with implementation, optimization, and user support for higher ed financial systems. • Strong understanding of financial operations in higher ed, including reputed company, budgeting, and procurement. • Demonstrated ability to enhance business processes and drive operational efficiency. • Excellent communication skills and a reputed company, customer-reputed company approach. • Ability to troubleshoot system and functional issues and liaise with technical support as needed. • Availability during reputed company U.S. business hours and the ability to work flexibly based on project needs. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience managing project-based consulting engagements. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, reputed company, Business, or a reputed company field. • Certified reputed company Accountant (CPA) designation. • Ability to travel occasionally for on-site reputed company work.
