Generalist Clinician, ERS; LSW/LPC
About the position
Responsibilities
• Triage via telephone to determine the severity of client requests and provide linkage to appropriate services.
• Assist callers to Netcare's crisis hotline with compassion and expertise to develop solutions.
• Make internal/external emergency and crisis intervention referrals and dispatch crisis services as appropriate.
• Maintain timely and complete documentation of services and activities.
• Operate and respond to live chat requests.
• Respond to waiting phone calls and chat requests within time parameters.
• Monitor voicemail and respond as assigned.
• De-escalate callers and ascertain risk using clinical skills.
• Participate in peer review as assigned.
• Engage in follow-up activities with recently discharged clients using motivational interviewing.
• Problem-solve with callers to the Homeless Hotline and manage shelter waitlists.
• Keep Homeless Hotline records in the homeless system database.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Must have LSW, LPC, LISW, or LPCC license.
• Experience in mental health or crisis intervention.
• Strong computer skills for documentation and communication.
Nice-to-haves
• Experience with motivational interviewing techniques.
• Familiarity with the demographic and human services network in Franklin County.
