Who We Are:
Behavioral Health Link has provided crisis intervention, behavioral health and developmental disability screening, triage, and linkage services since 1998 and is a recognized leader in crisis services and software. We currently operate the statewide Georgia Crisis and Access Line and mobile crisis response services in four of the six regions. Our proprietary software powers our services as well as the services of other agencies throughout the U.S. and abroad.

What We're Looking For:
Teams of two rapidly respond on site as dispatched to support Individuals in need in the community as part of our Mobile Crisis Response Service. These teams consist of a licensed and/or credentialed clinician and a paraprofessional who respond as part of this 24/7/365 service. Community based response includes, but is not limited to, homes, schools, parks, on the street, etc. but excludes hospital emergency departments and jails.
The Mobile Crisis Second Responder provides community-based, face-to-face rapid response to Individuals with behavioral health and/or substance misuse conditions in an active state of crisis. The Second Responder assists in deescalating crisis situations through the provision of support to the Individual, assists in collaboratively developing a safety plan, identifies and, when possible, links Individuals to needed community resources, arranges for transportation to emergency and crisis facilities, and completes appropriate/required documentation. When not actively dispatched, conducts telephonic follow-ups to support service linkage.
Requirements
What This Role Requires:
Education: High school diploma required. Certification as LCDC I, LCDC II, LCDC III, or Certified Peer Specialist preferred.
Experience working with Individuals with behavioral health and/or substance misuse disorders.
