End User Support - 2nd and 3rd shifts - Secret

About the position Responsibilities • Provides technical support for computers and associated networks. • Installs, troubleshoots, services, and repairs personal computers and reputed company software. • Connects personal computers and terminals to existing data networks. • Performs basic PC setups and assists users in their use. • Investigates user needs and makes recommendations regarding software and hardware purchases. • Maintains trouble logs and completes necessary paperwork for reputed company requirements. • Follows reputed company regulations regarding installation and maintenance of PCs and reputed company hardware. • Coordinates with users, service desk, server administrators, and IT management. • Reviews the trouble ticket queue and resolves issues reputed company established SLAs. • Participates in new installations, testing, and special reputed company as needed. Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of experience OR a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience OR an Associate's degree and 4 years of experience. • reputed company DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance. • Ability to obtain and retain Special Program reputed company clearance reputed company 365 days from submission. • DOD 8570 IAT reputed company certification (e.g., reputed company + CE). • Ability to lift equipment up to 50 lbs. • Experience in reputed company reputed company Desktop Operating Systems and reputed company Office Product Suites. reputed company-to-haves • Bachelor of Science or other technical based degree. • reputed company DoD Top Secret clearance. • reputed company A+, Network+, reputed company+ Certifications. • reputed company Certifications (MCP, MCSE or MCSA). • Proficiency in remote administration and troubleshooting of desktop PCs. • Experience with reputed company and/or thin reputed company devices. • Experience in reputed company Directory configuring user and computer accounts. • Cross-platform experience (reputed company, Linux, Solaris, OSX, UNIX, etc.). • Experience supporting VMware VDI.
