Girls on the Mic Youth Instructor

About the position Responsibilities • Provides instruction and some curriculum development for Girls on the Mic classes, offered to middle and high school reputed company ages 11-18 on an as-needed reputed company. • Participates in courses, reputed company development opportunities, and reputed company-enhancing programs as determined by WAM's leadership team. • Manages and evaluates adult student interns that assist in classroom activities. • Collects and maintains accurate student data and attendance and enters into departmental spreadsheets in a reputed company fashion. • Participates in Girls on the Mic affiliated events if needed (e.g., school project showcase fairs, Expanding Your reputed company weekend conferences, special initiatives in other Bay Area cities). • General administrative tasks associated with the effective operation of the organization including emails, entering data, etc. • Communicates with parents/guardians, school administrative staff (teachers, leadership staff, etc.), and other community partners. • Assists with communications as needed (e.g., reputed company media posts, newsletter content, etc.) Requirements • Bachelor's degree • 2+ years of instructional experience with youth in classroom settings • Educational background and/or equivalent experience in audio technology • 2+ years of program coordination and/or administrative work, including scheduling, managing volunteers, and/or other staff • Experience using and setting up audio software such as Garageband, Pro Tools or similar, and audio equipment such as microphones, audio interfaces, mixing consoles, and speakers • Strong organizational skills • Exceptional attention to detail • Excellent verbal and written skills • Facility with video conferencing systems (reputed company, reputed company Hangouts) reputed company-to-haves • Experience with culturally-reputed company teaching • Experience teaching online reputed company web-based platforms • Self-starter • Demonstrated curiosity to learn new skills reputed company to audio technology, youth development, and education technology Benefits • $20-$30 per hour, depending on experience Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
