Education Consultant II - ROPA Coordinator
About the position
Responsibilities
• Review and evaluate Vermont educator preparation programs for compliance with state standards.
• Process transcript review applications and support multiple licensing processes during peak periods.
• Prepare and report findings related to educator preparation programs.
• Facilitate training and observations for program evaluation and compliance reporting.
• Interact and collaborate with department staff, educators, and various stakeholders.
Requirements
• Five years or more of experience in education, teaching, or related student support services.
• Two years or more of experience as an Education Consultant I within the State of Vermont.
Nice-to-haves
• Bachelor's degree or higher in education or a related field.
• Knowledge of and experience in education preparation programs.
• Experience with accrediting bodies.
• Experience with program evaluation.
• Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to organize and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
• Competency with basic technology (Office/Google Suite, virtual meetings, basic web design, online surveys, etc.)
