E-Learning Manager (Hybrid)
About the position
Responsibilities
• Manage the E-Learning Team responsible for designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating digital training.
• Oversee planning, coordination, and organization of training processes, including departmental web sites and accessibility of e-learning products.
• Manage multiple e-learning projects using effective project management methodologies and tools.
• Oversee the development of complex documents such as training curricula, proposals, and training plans.
• Screen, interview, and hire qualified staff for the E-Learning Team.
• Conduct performance appraisals and recommend personnel actions.
• Represent the agency at conferences and meetings.
• Conduct training and presentations as needed.
• Oversee department operations in the absence of the director.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
• Three years of full-time experience in policy development or implementation in a public or private agency, with six months in an administrative management or supervisory role.
• Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications.
Nice-to-haves
• Successful e-learning and training project management experience.
• History of management in a dedicated training and development team.
• Excellent writing skills and knowledge of accessibility best practices.
• Experience developing e-learning curricula for adult audiences.
• Experience in delivering exceptional customer service.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow policies while multitasking.
• Dependable team player with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
