We are looking for a bright Principal Software Engineer to join Elevate.AI.
You will be one of the key technical multi-hat persons in the company.
You will be participating in coding, taking technical decisions, building documentation, defining roadmap along with CTO, mentoring junior developers and interns.
You will be in direct contact with the executive team composed of the CEO, CTO, CMO, CPO and Chief AI.
You’ll be working with Engineers, AI Data Scientists, Designers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to create innovative products that delight users.

Requirements
7+ years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in software engineering roles.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field; Master's Degree preferred
Fluency in English communication (written and speaking).
Thorough understanding of core software development principles and computational concepts.
Must have: Full-stack experience (Mobile, Desktop, Frontend, Backend).
Strong coding abilities.
Out of the box thinking.
Motivated, goal-oriented, and full of energy person who is willing to build the successful company.
360-degree technologist.
You see no issue in working remotely, at least partially.
As many technologies and languages you have played with as better.
Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in agile technology organizations.
Strong understanding of features and technology that impact customer experience.
Experience leading small teams.
Self-motivated.
Solution-driven.
Responsibilities
You will work closely with the CTO and will have responsibility on the product technological evolution, and its roadmap:
Manage the team, provide them with mentoring, technology leadership and growing opportunities, rewarding team members for exceptional performance.
Define the whole technology stack
Manage operations with agile methods that fit with the small size of the company and its big ambitions
Track performance in order to maintain the productivity of the team. Work closely with developers, understanding where they are finding success, and where they need work.
Improve the products by listening to ideas from the developers, advocating for innovative ideas, and finding paths to their implementation.
Develop a technical strategy with clear goals, obstacles, risk analysis aligned with the company’s business objectives.
Represent the company, promoting new and innovative ideas, inspire trust in the products that the company is building, through an active involvement across the public spaces.
Promote innovative ideas, sharing experience, and lead the software engineering team.
Compensation Package
The leadership team members are not taking salaries until we close our funding round.
Your package is founder equity to be negotiated in the mentioned bracket.
Salary will be defined at the closing of the fund-raising round or when sales generate sufficient cash flow to pay a salary. It will be compatible with market salaries for companies in similar space & stage.
No paycheck till then. Half – time is OK in this phase.
