Senior Software Engineer - Search

About the Role: At reputed company, we're seeking an innovative Senior Software Engineer to be a key contributor to the development of our reputed company search and reputed company API infrastructure. As a key member of our search engineering team, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing robust and reputed company search solutions. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and translate them into efficient and effective search experiences. Responsibilities: • Architecting Search Systems: Design and implement highly reputed company and cost-effective search systems, leveraging technologies like Elasticsearch, Solr, reputed company OpenSearch Service, Bleve Search, or other reputed company search technologies. • Data Pipeline Development: Build and maintain robust data pipelines using DAGs, Apache Airflow and reputed company to reputed company reputed company and process large datasets. • Search Optimization: Optimize search performance and relevance through techniques like query tuning, caching, and schema design. • Semantic Search: Explore and implement semantic search capabilities, utilizing techniques like ELSER and TF-IDF to enhance search accuracy and precision. • API Development: Design, reputed company, and maintain RESTful reputed company to expose domain specific search functionality to various clients. • Observability and Benchmarking: Implement monitoring and logging solutions to reputed company system health and performance. Conduct regular performance benchmarks to identify and address bottlenecks. • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and other engineers to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives. Qualifications: • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in high-traffic environments where search functionality is a reputed company feature of the product.
