About the position Responsibilities • Develop strong relationships with Store Development stakeholders to influence business decisions. • Collaborate with Finance and Store Development stakeholders to create a strategic sourcing pipeline with defined cost savings targets. • Achieve year-over-year improvements in Retail Fixtures and Construction Services & Equipment without sacrificing quality. • Conduct all phases of complex contract development, including requirements gathering and sourcing process execution. • Negotiate with suppliers to optimize Sephora's position and partner with stakeholders on contract evaluation and negotiation. • Improve supplier performance by setting measurable performance targets and managing supplier performance. • Stay updated on market changes and evaluate the impact of supplier status changes. • Identify and evaluate diverse suppliers to increase category spend with them and support sustainability goals. • Advocate for compliance with Sephora's Indirect Spend and Delegation of Authority policies. • Provide thought leadership and support for ad hoc projects to optimize Strategic Sourcing effectiveness. • Strategize across categories to identify opportunities for efficiencies and cost-effectiveness in supplier negotiations. • Build project plans and timelines to ensure key milestones are met in the sourcing process. • Communicate status updates to stakeholders and resolve issues in a timely manner. • Participate actively in improving Sephora's Sustainability, Supplier Diversity, and 3rd party Risk goals. Requirements • 10+ years of strategic sourcing experience in store development, fixtures, and construction services in a multi-national retail corporation. • Experience in negotiating large enterprise agreements such as master services agreements and statements of work. • Ability to develop relationships and gain buy-in from key stakeholders on category strategies and sourcing plans. • Proven track record of cost reduction and productivity improvements. • Excellent project and timeline management skills for end-to-end sourcing projects. • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. • Skilled negotiator with knowledge of various contract models and market terms. • Ability to influence internal and external partners and interface with senior-level stakeholders. • Excellent communication skills, including oral, written, and interpersonal. • Advanced skills in analytics, Excel, presentation, data visualization, and sourcing tools. • Robust understanding of software tools critical to strategic sourcing.
