Seasonal Professional Development Specialist - Math or ELA
About the position
Responsibilities
• Provide content-specific support, training, and guidance in the implementation of blended and online learning programs.
• Deliver workshops and sessions to educators on integrating digital solutions into their curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices.
• Develop and modify individualized learning paths for students.
• Design classroom assessments and run assessment reports.
• Conduct engaging small and large group presentations, both virtually and onsite.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a high-quality, results-driven environment.
Requirements
• A bachelor's degree (graduate degree strongly preferred).
• At least 2 years of experience with blended and/or online learning (5 or more years preferred).
• Current or past teaching certification.
• Experience delivering successful professional development, training, and/or consulting services in an educational environment is strongly preferred.
• Teaching and/or curriculum and instruction experience, including interacting with and influencing key decision-makers is preferred.
• Ability to work remotely and independently.
• Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, online video chat, and database software.
Nice-to-haves
• Experience in K-12 education settings.
• Familiarity with assessment tools and educational technology.
• Ability to provide a current Fingerprint Clearance Card or proof of application within 7 days of hire.
