Job Description
As a Studio Coordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional studio experience. This includes coordinating studio operations, upholding high health and safety standards, and working closely with the Studio Manager to achieve company and studio-level goals. Responsibilities
• Act as an ambassador of CorePower Yoga's core values, consistently inspiring these values in others
• Support the Studio Manager in achieving company and studio level goals, including membership growth, retail sales, community outreach, teacher and SET recruitment, and programming enrollment
• Commit to 32-40 hours in-studio per week of operations coordination and teaching (if certified), to include health and safety protocol execution, front desk guidance, and team support
• Must be flexible with schedule availability within the hourly commitment in service of the studio and team
• Serve as the studio-level point of contact for students and staff if/when Studio Manager is not present
• Support maintaining an appropriate level of studio supply inventory so that all provisions and amenities are available for students at all times including cleanliness inventory, locker room amenities, towels, programming materials, etc.
• Engage and know your studio community consistently; greet students by name, serve as an ambassador of yoga both inside and outside of the studio, and spend quality time at the front desk fostering community
• Support our teachers learning experience of working the POS and other pre/post class duties
• Coordinate and Execute Health, Safety and Cleanliness Protocol in the Studio
• Uphold high standards for the studio and when on duty, ensure that the physical studio space meets the high CPY standards of cleanliness and functionality including a safe environment, optimum heat and humidity, inspiring music, and clean and clutter-free surroundings in all areas of the studio
• Support communication around Smart Health Protocol to students upon entry and throughout their visit at CPY
• Act as an extension of the Studio Experience Team (SET) including cleaning the studio, stocking amenities, and ensuring the CPY cleanliness protocol is always followed while on duty in the studio
• When scheduled at the studio, support coordination of the Studio Experience Team (SET) including shift scheduling, stepping in for no call/no shows, and training
• Lead Orientation for new Studio Experience Team members and train them on cleanliness protocol and role expectations
• Act as a liaison between the Studio Manager and the teaching and SET teams in training, communicating, and coordinating studio operational systems including but not limited to:
• Point of Sales System (POS); understand and efficiently navigate POS to sign students in, sell packages and memberships, and explore and correct problems with student accounts when at the desk
• Online Reservation System; support administrative follow up of late cancel fees, waitlist, student support, etc
• Subbing Application; support training and usage for teaching team
• HRIS Application; support training and usage for teaching and SET team
• Help Desk; Submit facilities tickets when on dutyand communicate follow up needs to Studio Manager
• Teaching Schedule
• Support the studio class schedule by teaching a minimum of 6classes per week of branded CorePower Yoga classes and support the studio through subbing additional classes as needed
Requirements
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual who possesses excellent oral communication skills, professionalism, and exceptional interpersonal skills. You should have experience in Customer Service and be familiar with studio systems such as the HRIS, intranet, point of sale systems, company scheduling and payroll systems, etc.
