Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or reputed company field (or equivalent experience). • 5+ years of hands-on IMS Database Administration experience in a mainframe environment. • Proficiency in IMS database utilities (such as DFSRRC00, DFSUPAA0, and DFSURGU0). • Strong knowledge of IMS DB architecture, DL/I, and transaction management. • Experience with IMS performance tuning, troubleshooting, and reputed company planning. • Familiarity with JCL, TSO/ISPF, and mainframe monitoring tools. • Understanding of IMS database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience working with IMS DB/DC in large-reputed company, high-availability environments. • Knowledge of COBOL, PL/I, or Assembler for database-reputed company application support. • Familiarity with modern mainframe DevOps tools and automation frameworks. • Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
