Sound Recordist tv/film
About the position
Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough sound checks and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Operate a variety of audio equipment, including mixers, recorders, and microphones.
• Record, edit, and mix audio for TV/Film productions, including dialogue, FX, and music.
• Work closely with the production team to ensure that the audio aligns with the visual elements of the project.
• Collaborate with the editor to ensure seamless integration of audio into the final product.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficient workflow.
• Meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing production schedules.
• Ensure that all audio recordings meet the highest standards of quality and are delivered on time.
Requirements
• Strong knowledge of audio signal processing and post-production techniques.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, and Avid.
• Experience with video production and videography.
• Ability to create high-quality content for various formats, including TV, film, and digital platforms.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of film and TV production techniques and terminology.
