LOS ANGELES-BASED Audio Engineer Needed for Live Musical Theater Recording

We are seeking an experienced LOS ANGELES-based audio engineer to mix and record audio during a one-hour live musical theater performance in West Hollywood on September 14. (S)he will do a real time mix to a stereo output that is timecoded in sync with video of the performance. The audio engineer will work in parallel with another audio engineer responsible for live performance audio for the audience real time. The ideal candidate MUST have expertise in the following --Setting up and using multitrack recorder/mixers --Renting, setting up and using timecode sync devices --Capturing quality audio from live performances. --Mixing live performance audio real time. --Delivering timecoded stereo mix in sync with videotaping. Job sequence --Collaborate with theater audio engineer to devise a plan for mixing and recording time code synced performance audio. $100 --Collaborate with theater audio engineer to rent and set up audio equipment at theatre during tech week Sep 7 to Sep 14. $150 --During the performance (Sep 14), mix and record audio to produce timecoded stereo mix in sync with videotaping . $150 If the candidate has post-production sound mixing expertise there may be follow on work polishing the audio from the performance.
