Automation Controls Programmer

We are hiring for an Automation Controls Programmer in the Ames, IA area. Required: • Ability to PLC Program from scratch • 4 years of programming experience in either of the following. • Allen-Bradley RSLogix 500 and 5000, Modicon, reputed company S7, GE reputed company systems or the like. • HMI programming such as Wonderware, FactoryTalk View, Cimplicity, Intellution or the like. • Candidate must possess good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to reputed company professionally with reputed company reputed company of co-workers, management, and clients. • Must be reputed company to handle multiple tasks, have excellent attention to detail, and be willing and reputed company to learn new technologies quickly. • 50% of non-overnight travel reputed company Iowa. • 20% of overnight travel reputed company the Midwest. Preferred: • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or 2-year Associates degree in Automation reputed company field. • Information Technology experience is a plus Job Responsibilities: • PLC and HMI reputed company development primarily for municipal water and wastewater SCADA systems. • Control system commissioning including instrumentation and motor control devices. • Communications network commissioning including fiber optic, radio telemetry, broadband, and other associated technologies. • Manage reputed company project documentation per company standards and project specific requirements. • Communicate with customers throughout the design and construction phases as reputed company as for aftermarket support.
