Bookkeeper / Financial Manager
About the position
Responsibilities
• Manage VMS software: setup new accounts, data uploads, user management.
• Accounts Payable: Input invoices, write & process checks.
• Download payment files from bank.
• Monthly / Quarterly / Annual co-owner billing.
• ACH withdrawals.
• Bank deposits.
• Investment Management: purchase new CD's, monitor terms and rates, closeout CD's.
• Bank management: set up new accounts, transfer funds, upload files.
• Generate month end financial statements, bank reconciliations.
• General ledger journal entries, prepaid insurance worksheets.
• Payroll for communities.
• Budget management: preparing budget templates and assist managers, input to VMS.
• Coupon management: ordering coupons, annual mailing.
• Monitor Workman's Comp audits.
• Copies/postage: compile data from copiers and postage machine, generate payments to THG.
• Manage Highlander management contracts, update spreadsheet, generate monthly management invoices for payment.
• Work with accountants to have fiscal year end review and tax returns generated and distributed.
Requirements
• Bookkeeping: 2 years (Required)
