Our client is seeking a Business Operations Contractor I who will be responsible for supporting business operations team with accounting and financial reporting associated with marketing, media, and advertising. Access to monthly and quarterly reporting processes including recurring month-end close areas as assigned, primarily operating expense accounting, and general support to Marketing Operations department while reporting to the Senior Specialist. Acts as a key accounting role within the marketing department to coordinate invoice reports, purchase order reports, and review of monthly financial expenses. Works independently with minimal guidance, has ability to deliver on strict deadlines, and manages process changes and implementation of new programs.
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Adobe Experience Platform expert. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and managing audience segments in AEP for omnichannel campaign use.
Description:
Financial and business operations within Marketing Communications focused heavily on accounting efforts. Responsible for Purchase order requests, processing and tracking for marketing, advertising and media teams.
• Key Accountabilities:
• Responsible for all requesting and tracking all purchase orders for media, brand and marketing expenses within the department.
• Supporting operations team and external partners on AR reports, expense tracking and approvals for fast moving projects.
• Provides support on key accounting metrics and operational procedures to foster accuracy on month end reporting.
• Participates in the budget planning sessions with various internal teams to support accurate record keeping.
• Assists with the preparation of weekly and monthly internal tracking reports.
• Researches invoice, purchase order, accrual reports, deferred schedules and forecasts for accurate ledgers.
• Works with the Marcom operations team, finance and accounting department to align reports and results.
• Researches and leads process improvement and standardization projects by identifying risk areas and recommendation for improvements.
• Project management on implementation of new platforms and tools needed for reporting and dashboards.
• Tracks and analyzes key accounting metrics and operational procedures to foster accuracy on month end reporting.
• Participates in the budget planning sessions with various internal teams to support accurate record keeping.

• Required Skills:
• Bachelor's degree (Accounting, Finance, Business Management) or equivalent.
• Generally requires 3-5 years of related experience.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent tasks and deadlines.
• Strong PC skills with proficiency in Excel and Word and experience in other Microsoft Office applications.
• General knowledge of marketing and advertising expense terms is helpful.
• Prior financial analyst / general accounting experience in a marketing or advertising environment is preferred.
• AEP, CDP, and Adobe skills required.
• Team management, campaign management, consumer marketing, lifestyle marketing, and cross-functional team experience.
• Data-minded and detail-oriented.
