Yacht Specialty - Personal Insurance Account Executive (FL hybrid)

About the position Responsibilities • Manage an existing portfolio of yacht business with the objective of expanding the client practice. • Negotiate new and renewal terms, conditions, coverage limits and pricing with carriers and wholesalers. • Deliver and review for accuracy new and renewal policies with the yacht team. • Contribute to the growth of the division by being a trusted and reliable member of the yacht practice. • Actively participate in building new relationships and nurturing existing ones within the NFP network. • Timely Epic documentation and managing material changes in risk. • Maintain a diary (follow-up system) to ensure policies, endorsements and other information is received to comply with requirements. • Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and clients through regular contact and client visits. • Participate in corporate and industry events as required. Requirements • Extensive understanding of yacht insurance terminology and familiarity with yacht insurance coverage, policy wording, terms and conditions. • Experience in Personal Lines/High-Net-Worth accounts is required. • Must have managed a book dedicated to yacht practice and have comprehensive knowledge of the yacht insurance market guidelines and placement criteria. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Self-confident to make sound independent decisions. • Possess technical expertise plus good analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to handle situations in a calm, courteous and professional manner. Nice-to-haves • BA/BS preferred. • Experience with EPIC or similar agency management systems preferred.
