Grievance and Appeals Coordinator | Remote | Contract
Walker Healthforce is seeking a Grievance and Appeals Coordinator with 2+ years of experience. This is a contract opportunity.
CORE REQUIREMENTS:
• Two (2) years related experience/ customer service handling a large case load in a fast-paced environment
• Experience writing letters or respondence
• Previously worked in G&A or Customer Service Rep (CSR) at a an insurance company/payer
• Medicare Part D/CMS knowledge
• Health insurance state and federal regulations
• Analyzing a claim
• Strong computer skills- Save a PDF, MS Office- Excel
WE CONSIDER IT A BONUS IF YOU ALSO HAVE:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, English, Communications or related field preferred.
• Strong project management skills preferred.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Process appeals and grievances, analyze, research, and provide comprehensive responses in accordance with established regulatory and accreditation guidelines. Contact customers to gather information and communicate disposition of case. Conduct pertinent research in order to evaluate, respond to, and finalize case. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures for analyzing, interpreting data and applying contract and regulatory provisions
