The CSU Office of Admissions processes application for incoming freshman, transfer, and graduate students, and other specific student populations. The processing unit consists of an assistant director, four full-time processors and these temporary application processors who are hired to assist from late-September through December of each year.

Description: Temporary processors complete essential data verification and data entry steps as part of processing applications for admission. Typical activities include:
• Ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of student data with strict FERPA compliance
• Reviewing applications and academic records according to established guidelines
• Calculating grade point averages, determining residency and tracking performance indicators
• Verifying data in university systems and performing data maintenance tasks
• Scanning/downloading material into database
• Completing other special projects as assigned
Timeline: Late September through mid-December.
Hours: Positions start week of September 29: part-time/training (est 15-30 hours/week). Starting October 13: Full-time (35-40 hours/week: 8am-5pm M-F).
Pay: $17 per hour. This position includes limited sick leave per state of Colorado regulations.
Location: Full-time on campus (Fort Collins) OR full-time remote (in Colorado). Individuals who request to work remotely must have access to workspace that meets University requirements and must make appropriate arrangements for dependent care during agreed-upon work hours.
We will discuss workspace, computer equipment and tech support with applicants invited to interview.

Position Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent; college preferred
• Demonstrated computer proficiency
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with student information systems, database systems, data entry, data verification and/or compliance projects
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance volume, speed and quality
• Demonstrated ability to work independently to meet performance indicators
