Online ESL Instructor
Key Responsibilities
• Tailor lesson plans to meet the needs of students across various age groups and cultural backgrounds.
• Design and implement interactive activities that encourage language acquisition and skill-building.
• Evaluate students' language proficiency and provide targeted, constructive feedback.
• Employ diverse instructional strategies to support different learning preferences.
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment.
• Conduct dynamic online lessons in 25-, 15-, or 7-minute formats.
• Utilize digital platforms and tools to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism, dependability, and timeliness.
Required Experience
• Broad experience in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL).
• In-depth knowledge of effective ESL instructional methods and best practices.
• Proficient in using online teaching platforms and digital education tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dedicated to fostering a dynamic, student-focused learning environment.
• Competent in managing both classrooms and individual student needs.
• Demonstrated success in leading lessons and supporting student progress.
• Experienced in teaching beginner-level ESL learners with adaptable, student-responsive approaches.
Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (Required).
• Must be a citizen of the U.S., Canada, or the U.K. (Applicants from other countries will not be accepted.)
• Stable landline or Ethernet internet connection (Wi-Fi only is not allowed).
• English must be your first language.
• High-quality headset with a working microphone (No earbuds permitted).
• Valid government-issued ID (Passport or Driver’s License).
• Professional home workspace setup with a clean, appropriate background.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
• Prior teaching experience (homeschooling, tutoring, coaching, or mentoring) is preferred but not required.
• ESL teaching certification or credentials are a plus but not mandatory.
Work Schedule
• Evening Shift: 18:00 – 24:00 KST (05:00 – 11:00 AM EST)
• Must be available for at least four consecutive hours, five days a week (Monday to Friday). This schedule is non-negotiable.
