An AI focused QA Engineer develops and executes tests that produces AI assisted automation covering functional, security, boundary, and other necessary test cases.
• Duties & Responsibilities:*
• Hands on using AI tool to automate test execution across platforms including web, mobile, and APIs.
• Validate AI model outputs are as expected and meeting performance metrics
• Design and implement AI powered automated tests and test frameworks.
• Participate in planning activities.
• Collaborate and coordinate across teams to deliver quality software within project scope and timeframes.
• Apply continuous integration and continuous delivery techniques.
• Work closely with software engineers to ensure and improve the ability to automate tests of software.
• Automate testing of complex software systems, including defining and driving processes to reduce automation maintenance.
• Promote and perform coding work consistent with industry standards and best practices.
• Conduct peer code reviews.
• Analyze AI automation tools, as needed, and recommend those that best fit the needs.
• Work on R&D activities and prototypes.
• Support automation and tool systems once they are up and running.
• Mentor junior members of the team.
Required Skills:
• Experience automating test cases using AI tool.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts, and proficiency in a programming language like C#, Java or Python.
• Experience with automated testing tools
• Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Debugging skills, solid knowledge of SQL for analysis and debugging.
• Experience building measurements and continuous improvement into software.
• Ability to satisfy complex business requirements through simple design and execution.
• Experience with load and performance testing.
• Experience with front-office financial services operations a plus.
• Experience with continuous deployment/integration a plus.
• Ability to work independently and understand application functionality through reverse engineering code.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience required.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience, including 2+ automating functional tests for software written using .Net stack - C# or VB.NET, ASP.NET MVC. SQL Server competency in SQL, queries and stored procedures. 1+ years of professional experience using AI tools to automate API and/or UI tests.
