Position Overview
We are looking for a part-time regular employment Visual Designer & Art Director to concept and build internal creative campaigns for Autodesk’s platform vision. The Autodesk Platform connects our software products with the capabilities we build. With project data connected by a cloud data model, the platform will accelerate innovation through data-driven insights and automation, leaving time for our customers to focus on what matters most. This team paves the path for employees to develop and adopt the platform technology to help realize this platform vision.
Through storytelling, strategy, and visual innovation, you will work with an inclusive team that moves fast and has fun while supporting the development of the Autodesk Design and Make Platform.
You will report to the Senior Manager of Platform Enablement, supporting the enablement of platform development at Autodesk.
We offer fully remote work from any of the following locations: Portland, Bay Area, Atlanta.

Responsibilities
Set the creative direction for an internal campaign
Create engaging and visually appealing content that resonates with employees
Develop and implement a strategy for the campaign
Analyze audience insights to inform creative decisions and ensure that the visuals resonate with the intended viewers
Oversee the creation of campaign materials
Collaborate with a variety of partners from executives and individual contributors to 3rd party creative partners
Develop the visual concept, style, and aesthetic that will be used across internal campaign materials, such as learning paths, videos, and interactive content
Measure the effectiveness of the materials and pivot the vision to support feedback loops
Support teams across the company to bring learning concepts, campaign activations, and content prototypes to life
Collaborate with software development organizations, leadership, and technology excellence teams on the development of internal platform building campaign
Help implement the entire creative process within an allotted time frame and budget
Work with program managers and internal partners to ensure that schedules are accurate, realistic and deadlines met
Present creative concepts and strategic plans to partners, clients, or team members
Conceptual, graphic design, type, and page layout skills for projects ranging from print to interactive to broadcast
Stay on top of the latest standards, processes, and trends in the visual design field
Minimum Qualifications
8+ years of hands-on experience with logo design, typography, color, web layout design, print production, image selection, and package design; proficient use of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and wireframing tools; demonstrated graphic design skills with updated portfolio
Must understand design in multiple media — print, digital, mobile
A well-rounded portfolio of client work, demonstrating an understanding of client goals

Experience working directly with senior subject matter experts (engineers, scientists, etc.) on complex programs involving multiple teams

Salary transparency Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $108,900 and $176,110. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
