Conduct environmental research and assessments to identify potential impacts on natural resources. Develop and implement plans to mitigate and manage environmental impacts. Collaborate with other departments and agencies to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of environmental programs and initiatives. Identify and recommend strategies for the protection and enhancement of natural resources. Manage and oversee environmental projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and reporting. Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal and external stakeholders. Conduct field work and collect data to support environmental studies and assessments. Prepare and present reports, presentations, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in environmental science. Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and stakeholders to promote environmental conservation efforts. Train and mentor junior staff members in environmental best practices and procedures. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and permits. Participate in public outreach and education initiatives to increase awareness of environmental issues and promote sustainable practices.
