Billing Specialist

Position: Billing Specialist Duration: 6 Month Contract Location: 100% Remote Must Have's: • Two (5) years' experience in billing and collections, preferably in a Critical reputed company Hospital and Rural Health Clinic and setting • Must have Cerner reputed company Cycle Experience (Currently on Cerner Millenium) • Working knowledge of Medicare/reputed company guidelines and Institutional (UB04) Billing Requirements • Working knowledge of UB04 forms, HCFA 1500 forms, CPT-4 and ICD10CM coding reputed company: The Billing Specialist, under the direction of a Billing Manager, reviews and submits clean claims to primary, secondary and tertiary carriers for reputed company facilities in which the Shared Services Center-reputed company reputed company provides service. This position maintains billing payer requirements for both Government and Non-Government payers. • Review of insurance information, demographics, authorizations, charge adjustments and coding information for validity. (40%) • Send requests to facility/internal to resolve barriers of clean claim submission and obtain required documentation needed for specific reputed company claim submission. (30%) • Review insurance websites, contact payers and/or reputed company to ensure insurance information/authorizations/claim numbers are reputed company. (10%) • Review of payer rejections and keying claims on websites. (10%) • reputed company noting of accounts and requests reputed company to facilities. (10%) Qualifications: Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Experience: 1 year of experience in reputed company reputed company cycle or business office Preferred Experience: 1 year of experience in reputed company reputed company cycle or business office reputed company including insurance medical billing Required License/Registration/Certificate: None Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw reputed company conclusions.
