Paid Media Operations Contractor (Remote, NYC preferred)

Schedule: Thursday–Monday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM ET
About the Role
Optomi, in partnership with a leading entertainment company, is seeking a Paid Media Operations Contractor to join a fast-paced growth marketing team focused on subscriber acquisition. This role is essential for managing and optimizing campaigns during peak weekend periods and ensuring seamless handoffs to weekday teams. The ideal candidate has experience executing cross-channel paid media campaigns, is data-driven in decision making, and thrives in real-time optimization environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute and optimize paid media campaigns across search, social, and video platforms.
• Monitor campaign pacing and performance, making real-time adjustments to maximize ROI.
• Manage direct response campaigns with a focus on CPA (Cost per Acquisition) goals.
• Collaborate with weekday teams for seamless campaign transitions and reporting.
• Troubleshoot underperforming campaigns and implement corrective actions quickly.
• Automate and streamline manual reporting, alerts, and workflows.
• Support trafficking needs including ad scheduling, creative rotations, and vendor integrations.
• Develop and test new audience strategies such as lookalikes and retargeting.
• Provide performance insights and strategic recommendations to improve campaign results.
Qualifications
• 2+ years of hands-on paid media experience (agency or client-side).
• Proven track record in cross-channel campaign execution and real-time optimizations.
• Strong understanding of direct response marketing and subscriber acquisition.
• Proficiency in:
• Google Ads, Google Campaign Manager, Excel (required)
• Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, Amazon DSP, Airtable (preferred)
• Additional tools such as Smartly, Sprinklr, DV360, Search 360, or app tracking platforms (Adjust, Appsflyer, Kochava) are a plus.
• Experience with trafficking, third-party ad serving, and ad verification platforms (IAS, DoubleVerify, Sizmek, etc.) a plus.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to make quick, data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Must be comfortable working Thursday–Monday, including weekends.
