Psychiatry - Advanced Practice Provider (PMHNP/PA-C) Altheda Medical Center offers multi-specialty medical services on a mission to provide high-quality and easily accessible care. Our starting focused offerings are consisted of primary care, special medical exams, psychiatry and medical aesthetics. Our tech-integrated and patient-centered focus aims to redefine the traditional healthcare delivery standards practiced in conventional outpatient settings. We are looking for an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners and/or Physician Assistants with a focus in psychiatry to be a part of our team as we strive to provide better coordinated care management for patients in conjunction with our primary care department. Qualifications: • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. • Full-time support staff provided for administrative and clinical tasks (e.g., prior authorizations, scheduling, obtaining outside records). • Comfortable practicing independently. • Proficient with computers, EMRs, and e-prescribing systems. • Compassionate and non-judgmental in caring for patients with psychiatric needs. • Experienced in managing a broad range of mental health conditions. Responsibilities: • Provide mental health/behavioral health assessment (including differential diagnoses, prognosis), treatment recommendations and treatment planning for clients across program types. • Provides education and training of the team; and development, maintenance, and supervision of medication administration and psychiatric and medical treatment and procedures. • Engage clients and family as active partners in developing, reviewing, and modifying a course of care that supports the clients' progress towards identified goals where appropriate. • This position requires a current Pennsylvania State License and DEA. • Remote Position.
