American Express is looking for a Data Sourcing Architect to join its team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of data analytics in a global financial services company. We are looking for an individual who has a passion for data and a proven track record for data sourcing. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of data analytics and be able to utilize data to develop creative solutions. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, as well as at least 3 years of experience in data analysis and/or data engineering. In addition, the successful candidate should have a strong understanding of database design, data warehousing, data mining, and data management principles. Experience with data visualization and analytics tools is a plus. We are looking for a team player who is able to work collaboratively and communicate effectively. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills. The ability to think creatively, be proactive, and take initiative are essential qualities for this role. Responsibilities: Design and implement data solutions to support American Express’s data analytics needs Create and maintain data models that effectively capture, store, and present data Utilize data mining techniques to find patterns in large datasets Develop and maintain ETL scripts to ensure data accuracy and consistency Analyze and clean data to ensure accuracy and completeness Develop data visualizations to aid in data analysis Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity Monitor performance of data solutions and troubleshoot any issues Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and best practices related to data management and analytics American Express is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
