About the position
Responsibilities
• Maintain kitchen prep and production areas in a clean and orderly manner following established cleaning procedures and schedules.
• Operate dish machines according to company and manufacturer specifications, using proper measurements of detergent and sanitizer.
• Restock supplies needed by cooks to meet customer expectations.
• Remove garbage and clean and sanitize the dish machine at the end of each shift.
• Prepare equipment and obtain supplies needed for kitchen operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, including floors, equipment, workstations, and walls.
Requirements
• Ability to comprehend, read, and communicate in English.
• Understanding and ability to follow safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
• Knowledge of basic dish machine operations.
• Ability to clearly communicate with co-workers and managers through reading and writing.
• Well-groomed appearance and adherence to uniform requirements, including wearing non-slip shoes.
• Ability to stand for 100% of the time and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Possession of a ServSafe Certificate.
