Overview: Responsible for the remote supervision of geographically dispersed contract teams supporting the Army Military Pay Offices (AMPO) at various locations. These teams may expand to include additional installations including overseas locations. Responsible for ensuring 100% staffing at each site and backfilling positions to ensure continuity of services. Responsible for financial records management services support to the United States Army. In general, services include general customer service support and inquiries, Soldier readiness point customer service, finance in-processing, and finance out-processing/separation processing. Peripheral task requirements include processing and management of various types of voucher documents received in the field location.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Monitors daily attendance of onsite employees and ensures a daily attendance report is provided to the Program Manager and Government from each location.
• Reviews and approves employee timesheets and leave requests.
• Interviews candidates to fill open positions.
• Ensures Site Leads provide monthly reports to the Program Manager.
• Completes requisition forms for employee hiring actions, separation forms for employee terminations, and change forms for transfers/personnel status changes.
• Ensures all employees complete their mandatory training on time. Follows up with those that are delinquent in completing the training.
• Elevates and communicates performance issues to the Program Manager.
• Interacts with onsite Government POCs and employees.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree.
• At least two years of supervisory experience supporting projects of similar size and scope.
• The ability to work at an accelerated pace and manage a geographically dispersed workforce.
• Obtain a favorable criminal background check and security investigation.
• US Citizen.
• Proficient in English, both written and oral.
• Proven customer service skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook, plus Adobe Acrobat and various web browsers (Edge, Chrome, etc.).
• Proficient in the use of basic office equipment such as computers, copiers, and scanners .
• Familiarity with the military is desirable.
Work schedule: Hours of operation are from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm local time, Monday through Friday.
