Standard Working Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM (ET). Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as Director Strategic Initiatives Clinical Care. Expectations for this Role: The Director Strategic Initiatives Clinical will support the VP of Clinical Care Services to drive clinical operations and performance. This high-performing individual will also function as a primary consultant to the vice president of clinical care services (CCS) and be a liaison for clinical directors, P&L owners and department leaders. Candidate will be responsible for coordinating the relationship of the CCS team a business unit with internal partners and external stakeholders to ensure the flow of information and decision-making processes are most effective. Primary accountabilities include: Manage and enhance internal communications from the VP to leadership & staff, including newsletters, all staff meetings, and leadership forums. Work with focused Medicaid members. Program responsibilities such as assisting with executive reporting needs, project communications, management of issues logs and change requests, facilitating project meetings, managing deliverables, and ensuring resolution of escalated issues Assists with RFP management, new implementations, business case ROI and vendor relations. Develops and coordinates presentations and materials for leader management and performance meetings Supports vice president readiness for internal and external speaking engagements including meeting preparation and communication materials Responsible for the implementation and execution of defined strategies and departmental projects; works with the Project Management Organization where defined and focus across implementation efforts includes change management, sponsorship, and buy-in and advocacy efforts to get business results. Provide process, project, and change management methodology support for initiatives including regulatory and mandated projects, health care special projects, and corporate initiatives. Leads, identifies, tracks, and reports on areas for increased efficiency. Develops, monitors, and tracks metrics supporting budget and spend. Required: • Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare field. • 3 years managed care experience. • 5 years of leadership. • 7 years related experience. • Project management and/or PMP a plus.
