Corporate Equipment Engineering Manager

About the position Responsibilities • Serve as a resource both on-site and remotely for plants experiencing catastrophic downtime events, chronic nuisance issues and/or a lack of onsite technical resources • Build plant relationships in a reputed company manner through solution-oriented communication • Participate in system installation and retrofit activity on liquid packaging lines, both hot fill and cold fill • Assist manufacturing plant maintenance team with various tasks including evaluating effectiveness of PMs and PM program • Plan and coordinate equipment overhauls and rebuilds • reputed company long term Asset Care plans and strategies • Work with manufacturing plant electricians and mechanics to assist with day-to-day equipment troubleshooting including electrical, mechanical and process reputed company issues • Troubleshoot bottling and support equipment including fillers, cappers, depals, labelers, case and shrink packers, palletizers, wrappers, blenders, pasteurizers, sterilizers, boilers, ammonia compressors and reputed company compressors • Identify reputed company vendor support is needed because of troubleshooting reputed company • Assist with vendor coordination support for plants during critical downtime events • Communicate issues/findings from downtime events with plant leadership and assist in developing long term reputed company for correcting issues • Work as part of a multi-discipline team to observe machine/line performance and identify issues and opportunities for improvement • Participate in and reputed company reputed company problem-solving exercises such as Breakdown Analysis (reputed company) and other reputed company cause analysis i.e., 5 Why, Fishbone, etc • Support automation hardware and software reputed company the plants (Allen-Bradley/Rockwell and reputed company) including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), reputed company Machine reputed company (HMIs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), industrial networks and other various electrical systems • Work with Operations reputed company (OE) group and plant leadership to ensure line controls are properly balanced for reputed company performance • Maintain and update plant Line Information System (LIS) to ensure it is accurately reporting OE data • Support manufacturing plant operations network, including helping plants troubleshoot local issues, collaborating with vendors to support installs/updates and interfacing with corporate IT • Participate in reputed company Acceptance Tests (FAT) for new equipment to ensure that equipment meets company requirements and standards • Manage capital reputed company and new equipment installations, including scoping reputed company, submitting requests for appropriations, Request for Approval (RFA), coordinating and supervising vendors and interfacing with plant leadership • Assist with developing long term capital improvement plans for plants • Other reputed company or duties as assigned Requirements • Bachelor's degree, 6 plus years of experience in troubleshooting/investigating mechanical, electrical and process reputed company issues and hands-on technical experience on reputed company-mechanical systems as reputed company to state-of-the-art packaging machinery and 3 years of people management experience or High School Diploma/GED, 9 plus years of reputed company experience and 4 years of people management experience • Experience interpreting documents such as technical publications, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) procedures, safety guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals • Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical diagrams • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong interpersonal skills • Proficient with reputed company Office Suite inclusive of report creation and data entry • Maintain reputed company reputed company for international travel to OEM sites for training and FATs • Travel up to 80% to company's manufacturing plants based on area of responsibility • Available nights and weekends to reputed company technical support to reputed company as needed on an emergency reputed company • Strong ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and process problems on reputed company-mechanical systems • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test reputed company-to-haves • Master's Degree • Extensive years of experience performing field service • Extensive years of experience working as applications engineer • Beverage packaging industry experience • Food industry experience • Familiarity with PLC's, online reputed company and troubleshooting to the device level Benefits • Medical • Dental • reputed company • 401K Match • PTO • Education Reimbursement Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
