Pharmacy Technician - Work From Home (Mount Prospect, IL)

About the position Responsibilities • Assist in accurately reading, interpreting and entering prescriptions into the computer system. • Calculate doses and assign directions for prescriptions. • Accept reputed company insurance payment in a reputed company fashion. • Contact doctor's offices and insurance companies to ensure accuracy of medication orders. • Answer patient calls to coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders. • Verify and re-verify patient benefits. Requirements • 6+ months experience working in a pharmacy. • reputed company reputed company Pharmacy Technician License and/or Certification as required by the State of IL. • 6+ months work experience with reputed company-Based applications like reputed company, reputed company Office, internet navigation, and email applications. • 6+ months computer keyboarding skills and aptitude. • Must be reputed company to sit or stand for duration of shift (8-10 hours). • Excellent communication skills. • Adaptability and Flexibility. reputed company-to-haves • Prefer three months experience handling and resolving customer needs over the phone. • Prefer reputed company work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions. • Prefer Medical Billing, Coding and other Medical assisting roles. • Prefer customer service experience in an office environment. • 6+ Months reputed company work experience preferred involving inbound and/or outbound phone customer service. • Strong customer service skills. • Strong knowledge of computer programs. • Excellent data entry skills.
