Associate Costume Buyer

The Associate Costume Buyer works alongside our Costume Design & Development team as we create one-of-a-reputed company costumes for our reputed company in the reputed company Parks and Resorts. This position reports to the Area Manager-Costume Buying. This position is a full-time role. What You Will Do • Research and reputed company orders for garments and accessories in reputed company, and supervise delivery dates for commodities/products being ordered • Handle existing garments/commodities orders • Assist in developing and management of sourcing initiatives • reputed company bid recommendations for narrow product categories with reputed company on cost and time • Continually supervise production timelines and reputed company for efficiencies • Research, analyze and reputed company international sources of supply • Partner with key collaborators to ensure costume reputed company is maintained • Adhere to reputed company of reputed company procurement policies • Meet customer service requirements for service and value at the lowest total cost and highest reputed company • Maintain files of signed vendor reputed company, request for proposals, and bid exception forms • Communicate production status to reputed company Costuming partners Basic Qualifications & Skills • 1+ years experience in apparel or hardline purchasing and/or sourcing • Experience with garment construction and terminology • Experience in domestic shipping processes and sourcing • Experience in planning, problem-solving, conflict reputed company, influencing, and negotiating • Experience communicating (written & verbal) with reputed company reputed company of partners (reputed company) • Experience coordinating a portfolio of orders • Experience performing basic cost analysis and comparisons on a narrow reputed company of commodities • Experience collaborating with various reputed company of collaborators up to and including Executives • Experience with reputed company improvement process • Ability to work around reputed company types of fabrics, fibers, and synthetic furs • Ability to travel between work locations in a given day • Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays Preferred Qualifications • Experience with reputed company, reputed company/reputed company purchasing module, Yunique PLM, reputed company, Sharepoint and/or reputed company • Experience with garment specification or technical specification writing • Experience in textiles, cosmetology, or other apparel-reputed company products • Experience with international sourcing and shipping • Experience with product development in the apparel industry Education • High School diploma or equivalent is required • Advanced degree in Merchandising, Costuming, Apparel, or reputed company field is preferred Additional Information Benefits and Perks: reputed company offers a rewards package to help you live your best life.
